Dog Pic of the Week
I love taking photos of our doxle, because he's so comical. There's something inherently funny about dachshunds, and crossing that with a beagle produces something halfway between Snoopy and the Slinky dog from "Toy Story."
He has this skinny, whippy body, but he thinks he's really cool. He was rolling over to get his tummy rubbed and I couldn't help thinking of that 80's song, "Don't you want me baby... Don't you want me? Ooooh!"
P.S. The look on our other dog's face while he was doing this was priceless. As in, "I don't BELIEVE that guy!"

Is the white one a corgi mix? -- just wondering to see if you've got a thing for stumpy-legged dogs like my wife (who wants a pack of basset hounds and dachshunds)
No, he's a border collie/husky mix, we think. He was a stray that I brought home from work. The other one is from the animal shelter. They chose us, we didn't choose them! It was just one of those things. Fate, love at first sight, guilt... I don't know!
But no, I have no obsession with stumpy-legged dogs. Zeke isn't stumpy, either. He's just sort of an elongated beagle. Clearly he has a full-sized dox in his ancestry, not a mini.
What cute doggies! Someday, I hope to have a cute doggie of my own. But, for now, I'll have to settle for my adorable - if naughty-ass - kitty!
Christine, love your pooches! We have two English Springers. We like to call them our hairy kids. Although our human kids are kinda hairy too......
Thanks!
