I was watching The Ghost and Mrs. Muir this afternoon on one of the classic movie channels, and got a good chuckle out of that line!

Oh, boy, nowadays, it's more like two million discontented female writers... and we're two of them. Ugh.
No, we're not, because this line was in reference to all those elegant ladies whose husbands support them and have servants to do the housework, so they have nothing else to do but write a book.
I wish!
